Nyandarua Senator John Methu is mourning the demise of his dad.

He took to social media to share the heartbreaking information of his father’s passing on Christmas Day.

The veteran politician revealed that his father breathed his final on Monday morning, casting a shadow of sorrow over what ought to have been a festive celebration.

“Loss of life is painful and merciless. The ache of dropping a father or mother is immeasurable. My dad rested this morning,” Senator Methu expressed on his social media platforms.

Senator Methu didn’t reveal the circumstances surrounding his father’s demise.

The announcement prompted an outpouring of condolences from Kenyans throughout social media platforms.

Messages of sympathy and help flooded the remark part, with well-wishers expressing their heartfelt condolences to the grieving senator.
