In response to the closure of Terminal 1E, all flight arrival operations at JKIA have been rerouted to Terminal 1A until further notice. This redirection aims to ensure minimal disruption to airport operations and passenger services.
This incident is reminiscent of a similar occurrence four years ago when a fire broke out at Terminal 1C’s check-in counters 7 and 8. It underscores the importance of stringent safety protocols and proactive measures to mitigate risks within airport facilities.
