Government Launches ‘Finya Computer Itoe Dollar’ Programme to Empower Youth in Digital Economy

In response to President William Ruto’s call for youth empowerment through technology, the government has unveiled the ‘FINYA Computer Free Online Training Programme.’ This initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, aims to equip young individuals with essential digital skills, enabling them to thrive in the online job market.

The programme offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to accommodate various skill levels and interests. Basic modules, such as Data Entry, Digital Marketing, and Virtual Assistance, provide foundational knowledge necessary for online work. Additionally, an Advanced Module focusing on Graphic Design allows participants to further enhance their expertise in this specialized field.
