Mandera County allotted 460 million for bursaries – Kenya Information Company







The Mandera County authorities has put aside 460 million for the second section of bursary allocation to not less than 37,015 learners throughout 61 public secondary colleges within the area.

Governor Mohamed Adan Khalif pressured on the federal government’s dedication to empowering youth who had been vital in contributing to the event and prosperity of the county however urged beneficiaries to take their training significantly.

He assured that no pupil could be despatched dwelling for lack of college charges, as the federal government has intervened to handle the difficulty. Issack Abdullahi, Principal of Mandera Lecturers Coaching Institute, acknowledged that the funds come at an important time of financial hardship and monetary constraints confronted by mother and father in Mandera County.

He inspired college students benefiting from the county authorities’s bursary to contemplate becoming a member of educating programmes as a option to contribute to addressing the scarcity of academics within the county. Mandera County is presently grappling with a scarcity of academics, requiring 527 secondary academics and 682 main academics to fulfill academic wants adequately.
