President William Ruto on Sunday, January 14, introduced that he would jet out to Italy later this month to hunt funding for stalled water initiatives within the nation.
Talking throughout a church service in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County, Ruto defined that he could be travelling to Italy on the invite of President Sergio Mattarella.
Ruto remarked that he could be searching for buyers to resuscitate the stalled Arror and Kimwarer dams in Elgeyo Marakwet and Itare Dam in Nakuru County.
“As leaders right here have mentioned, on how the county will transfer ahead. We’ve got spoken about roads and water initiatives which have stalled on this space,” he defined the necessity to search for buyers.

Ruto revealed that in his journey he could be accompanied by Governors Wisley Rotich (Elgeyo Marakwet) and Susan Kihika (Nakuru).
